The Good Old Days

Well they decided to go ahead and finish the competition with 10 assignments. I think it's great they are not giving up on this modeling competition, but at the same time I have lost a bit of interest so I haven't been having as much fun with my assignment as I was before.

Now for the 6th assignment they wanted the models to show a bit of "the good old days" from the late 1800 to early 1900. Naturally the picture must be in black and white or sepia.

I took several, as always -- can't never decide for one lol.

Our Wedding Secret

For Amanda life had been like a Cinderella story of sorts; she had come from a family of hard workers with ambitions and dreams of becoming someone important, and marrying someone kind and devoted to those who struggle to make a buck or two; the perfect man in her eyes.

She met Octavio during a charity event for disable children and she could not ask for more when she realized he had all the qualities she had been looking for: kind; devoted to a cause; family oriented; romantic; and very rich. The kind of man that could make the world better, and she would help him succeed.

They set a date for their marriage. Everything was going smoothly, but old rumors that Octavio was not exactly interested in the female physical attributes surfaced and Amanda had no idea why they would want to put a stain to her happy romance.

The day of the wedding came in a breeze and Octavio and Amanda tide the knot. Right after declaring his vows and kissing her, Octavio turned to look at Prince, a long time friend and one of the best mans at their wedding. He then turned to Amanda again and told her he needed to confess something very important; Amanda couldn't think of what it could be, but she was excited to hear it.

Octavio confessed the rumors to be true, and turned to profess his love for Prince whom seemed to be more than pleased to hear it.

Amanda was shocked, after all she had struggled to achieve her dreams at a perfect life. Oh well! She said to herself, it will be our little secret, happy endings are overrated anyway.

High Fashion

 High Fashion - 4th Assignment!

So the competition is coming to an end soon, although they said we would have 10 assignments and this one is only the 4th one, but most of the models have dropped out and there is only 3 of us remaining. -__-

I know! It is so frustrating when others don't commit but life gets busy for people once in a while, and so I understand not all of the simmers had the time to spare... well,  ending this sort of afternoon rant I will move on to the fourth assignment --the semi-finals.  :O

But first, as always, Ill mention the results of the last assignment and let me tell you I don't know which place I would have fallen into if there would have been more than only three models, but as it was so, I got 3rd place. To see the picture and details click here! ;)

Innocence is Pure Bliss

Good news and, not so good news!! Eh that was lame... but what is not lame is that Victoria won first place in the second assignment!!!

Hooray for Victoria. I knew she had in her!

Not so good news is that with winning the first place, I get barely NO POINTERS!! I have no clue what to improve if there is anything that needs improvement. Well they did say the pose was not as creative, but that I guess is just a matter of taste.

In Search for Effie

The second assignment for the Posh Agency Model Contest has been posted, and it is all about color and uniqueness... Effie (more or less) is the theme. 

They want the models to bring a bit of color basing their creation in the wacky fashion of the people of The Capitol, in the book series The Hunger Games. 

But I have never seen or read the story T T

The firs assignment was to put a portfolio together. 
They asked for a casual wear shot, elegant, and head-shot from the shoulder up. They also wanted a picture of the model's talent. 

Well Victoria has the writer trait, but no other talents that can be seen physically, so I had her become a martial artist!! She went from no talent to black belt in one day... how is that even possible? :O
